Insurance Fraud (Escalade Corporation v. Zurich and Rand Mullins)

Escalade Corporation v. Zurich and Rand Mullins

In the Circuit Court of Madison County, Alabama, 47-CV-2013-902048-CMC (fraud, misrepresentation, deceit)

Plaintiff Corporation owned a $3,000,000.00 industrial warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana that had been converted to rental space and insured through the Defendants. When the property suffered a $3,000,000.00 fire loss, local insurance agent Mullins told Plaintiff he had pocketed the $15,000.00 annual premium instead of paying it to Zurich. Mullins also had let his E&O lapse. Case was settled confidentially prior to trial.
